Agent egress controls for Platform and SRE teams.

Route agent egress through Panopticore to enforce policy, require approvals, and generate tamper-evident audit logs. It runs in your VPC with no required SaaS control plane.

What it does

Four controls on agent egress.

Designed for Platform/SRE teams in regulated or security-mature environments running autonomous workflows in their VPC.

See every action

Capture every agent action on the egress path, including ones nobody knew about, and measure how much of it your policy covers.

Enforce policy

Each request gets a deterministic decision: allow, warn, block, or require approval. Egress guardrails add allowlists, DNS pinning, and rate limits.

Orchestrate approvals

Require approvals before execution for high-consequence actions via Slack with signed tokens.

Evidence Binders

Cryptographically signed session records for audit, incident response, and legal review. Any third party can verify them offline.
Use cases

Three workflows to start with.

Incident bots and remediation

Let remediation bots act fast on routine fixes and require approval for risky ones, with evidence for the postmortem.

Infra automation and production changes

Gate merges, deploys, and migrations when blast radius is high. Routine actions pass through. High-consequence actions require approval.

FinOps and data movement

Apply policy to exports and outbound transfers at the egress boundary. Block risky data movement before it leaves.
How it works

Three components, deployed in your VPC.

Request path
Agent to external API, through Panopticore.
Agent
Your workloads
Any AI agent making outbound requests, on any framework, with no SDK.
Panopticore
Edge Authenticator
mTLS identity
Principal extraction from URI SAN. CRL checking. DSSE token minting.
Sidecar Proxy
Policy + evidence
Token verification. OPA/Rego policy evaluation. Event capture to tamper-evident ledger.
External APIs
Governed egress
Actions reach external systems only after authentication, policy evaluation, and evidence capture.
All agent egress flows through a dedicated control point: authenticate, decide, approve if needed, and record tamper-evident evidence.

Edge Authenticator

Establishes mTLS identity at the edge, extracts the principal from the URI SAN, checks the CRL, and mints a DSSE token.

Sidecar Proxy

Verifies the token, enforces allowlists, DNS pinning, and rate limits, and evaluates Rego policy to allow, warn, block, or require approval. Writes every event to a tamper-evident ledger.

Admin Service

Manages policy, runs approvals in Slack, and renders Evidence Binders for audit.

Deployment pattern

Simulate mode first. Enforce when ready.

Initial deployment in simulate mode takes days. All agent egress flows through Panopticore and every policy decision is logged, but nothing is blocked.

Tune the policy set and review sample Evidence Binders. Once the policy set is clean, turn on enforcement one workflow at a time.
